This is the largest citadel in Europe. We didn't have a lot of time, but it was worth exploring. Lots of empires have been here: Athenians, Spartans, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans etc.
Apparently Zeus worked out that Delphi was the centre of the world by setting off two eagles from the extremities of his domain and seeing where they met.
