This is a walk I’ve done a few times now and normally very early in the year running out light. However, this time the weather was absolutely perfect and it was an absolute joy from beginning to end.
This quite a long walk and a tough one, not like the walk in the Lakes a couple of weeks ago, but it ends up being the best part of 30 miles and well over 1000m of climbing – apologies for mixing imperial and metric.
There is also very little navigation to worry about as it sticks to the Pennine Way the entire way. I had a blast and really looking forward to the warmer month’s hiking now!
